What is IMPACT youth ministries?

As a youth ministry in an area of Richmond surrounded by numerous middle and high schools, our desire is to impact the lives of those around us.  Being a Christian teen in today’s society, has many speed bumps and obstacles.  We want the youth of our church to be equipped to handle everyday occurrences while ministering to those around them.  Our goal as the youth ministry of Goodwill Baptist Church is to help our teens grow closer to God, establish a daily relationship with Him, and strive to serve Him.

We utilize many of the materials from Word of Life Clubs, while incorporating our own ideas and resources.  Each year we re-evaluate the growth and maturity of our teens, and adjust our curriculum and/or approach based on where the group is at that time.

We encourage the youth to use their gifts and talents to serve God.  Many of our students are involved in children’s ministry, music, preaching, teaching, drama, puppet ministry, creative writing that honors God, nursery work, vacation Bible school, mission’s trips, and homeless ministries.  Impact youth are on fire for God.  Please consider joining us.
