Sparks
Sparks is for boys and girls Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Our Sparks have a great time each year studying the word of God by working through their workbooks, memorizing scripture, making special projects, and building friendships.
Dale has worked in Awana in several churches in the capacity of Pals director, JV director and Commander. He helped form a new club before coming to Goodwill. He has a total of 18 years Awana service and holds a Citation Award. He has also coached AwanaGames and Bible Quiz teams. When called up to serve as a Seabee in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, he continued to participate in Awana at his church in Okinawa. His wife, Fran, is our Cubbies Secretary and they have two grown sons and several grandchildren. His construction skills have been put to good use helping us build our annual Christmas Parade Awana float.
