Cubbies
Cubbies is a great place for 3-4 year olds to learn about God's Word in a fun setting. Cubbies focuses on scripture memorization and loving each other like Jesus. The theme song says it all:
We are Awana Cubbies and we're happy all day long.
We know that Jesus loves us, that's why we sing this song.
We hop because we're happy and we jump and shout for JOY!
Cause Jesus is a friend to us, He loves each girl and boy!
Gladys has been working in Cubbies for 15 years. She and her husband Sam have been members at Goodwill for 46 years. Gladys accepted the Cubbies director position in 2010. They have been bringing neighborhood kids to church and club for many years. She has taught children’s Sunday School classes and her life has centered around children for many years, including working in summertime Child Evangelism classes. Gladys currently teaches the senior ladies Sunday School class. She has 4 grown children and 11 grandchildren.
